Full Disclosure: Hair Loss and Wigginess!

In case anyone feels discouraged about hair loss. First, it's incredibly common among us. Stress, hormones, blood flow...mine started "rebooting" at about 4 1/2 months. My daughter went ahead and cut it down to nubbins, and I pulled out my wigs from prior chemo's and cancer rounds.

She, and I, are starting to see re-growth (I'm almost 7 months out) so maybe by Christmas (?) I'll have enough hair to warrant a hair cut. But my health is SO much better, and I don't think people die from vanity.

I'm posting a morning before wig & make up, and an after. Yes, the magic of better living through skills. YouTube has some awesome tutorials on how to style your own wig, and lots of make up help. My favorite wig spot is PattiesPearls, but she's closer to my age (65).

This wig is 8 years old. I restyled and trimmed with YouTube tutorials. Thanks!

My sister had a lot of hair loss as well. (She was sleeved 5 years before me.) She shaved hers down and had a trendy buzz cut. It actually looked cute on her. As it grew out, she just did punky short styles. It was actually quite nice. I could not do that because I don't like that I have a lot of white hair (not gray or silver...straight white!) and would not want to see that. I actually dye my hair frequently due to that. I love the wig Annie. Lots beautiful.

Oh Wow ! You are beautiful with and without the wig!

Love Pattie's Pearls. I spend way too much time on YouTube looking at them - But its addictive and I have 10 wigs now ! as I also had challenges with my Thyroid and hair loss.
I am thrilled for you, I so enjoy the wig tutorials too.

So Glad you are feeling well.
My next challenge is what to do about the excess skin especially under my arms.
I live in a very hot country I need to tone up this wrinkly flesh.
Any help or suggestions would be so helpful.
