Default 1 month Post Op Incisions Itch and are red

I am 1 month post op. The glue fell off of my incisions over a week ago. All 5 are red and itchy especially the big one. The big one is splotchy red around it and very itchy and then two dime sized spots spots that are lighter red and one is a 1/4 inch above the big one and the other is 1/4 inch below that itch as well. Any suggestions to help stop the itching? No oozing or anything just red and itchy.

Are they hot? That would be an indication of infection and worth a call to your doctor.

I developed a rash all over my tummy about a week after surgery, but it didn't last long. You could ask your doctor's office what you could use to relieve the itch. I would think after a month it would be safe to use any itch cream, but I'm not a doctor. Good luck!

Mine were itchy and I never had an infection or anything. As long as the wounds are not open you can put hydrocortisone on them. That is what I did.
