Hi Sam, you can do it! It's all a lot of stuff to get your head around isn't it?! I have to say I was terribly unadventurous with protein shakes and just added a shot of coffee and ice. I have a strawberry one now though that isn't sweet at all and I don't add anything. I think I'm boring lol! Good luck with your plans, do you know how long it will be?

You absolutely can do it!!! Just remember you are worth it. I like the EAS Advant Edge Low Carb shakes. They are the only ones that did not make me feel queasy. (Don't like the strawberry or vanilla ones, though. Only the various chocolate flavors and the Cold Brew Coffee one.)

    You can definitely do it!
If possible maybe try some samples of different protein flavours/brands as some are very different to others. It's all a personal taste. I found that some were just too sweet for me after surgery. A miracle as I have always had a very sweet tooth!
One thing to try and get used to is not drinking with meals. I found this quite odd to begin with.
Good luck. You will do great!
