Question Found a way to way guilt free pizza!!!

So I was searching a new way to fix chicken. I stumbled upon pizza crust. Let me tell you it is life changing!!!! You take one pound of ground chicken and .5 cup cheese and Italian spices if you like. Mix all together then flatten and form it out on parchment paper in a baking sheet. Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes until it is just starting to brown. I did have to pour off the extra juices. Cool forc5 minutes then top with whatever you fancy. I Used bbq sauce bacon sausage and cheese. Put it back in the oven imtil cheese is melted. It is so good! With the one slice I had it was over 30 grams of protien!

I might have to try that!

I make lavash pizza as a treat every few weeks. It's pretty simple, use a piece of lavash bread put pizza sauce on it and some low fat mozzarella cheese. Add healthy toppings like broccoli, sweet peppers, onions, and I use chicken sausage as well. Bake it for 15 minutes or so at 425.

Pretty good to eat and relatively healthy. I can usually only eat 2 pieces before being full (God I LOVE my sleeve!!!!).

Okay, now I'm thinking this might be dinner tonight......

That sounds delish. I would have never thought to use ground chicken to make a crust. Will have to try that. I have heard of using cauliflower to make a crust. I hear it is tasty as well but I have not gotten around to talking about it.

I heard the chicken crust is really good.
Too bad (or not) that I don't eat chicken.
I have made the cauliflower crust, that is good too, but far too much work for me.
Now I use a whole weat or corn tortilla as crust.
    Works for me.
The only "downside" is, you can't eat it by slice, you have to use a knife and fork.
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

My sweet Cody, you rock! I'm going to have to try this. I have used TheWorldAccordingToEggFace pizza with the special carb flat bread, but this would be better. I can, however, eat a thin crust, light cheese pizza with mushrooms & canadian bacon (1 slice) and be happy.

    Thank you for sharing!

If any one likes NOLA cooking, I've been able to adapt etouffee, and gumbo, and shrimp grits for bariatric diet. PM and I'll figure out how to give you recipes.

Thanks Annie, for this Nola cooking site.
I've been trying to look up their vegetarian recipes, but I can't get it to work yet.
I'll keep on it though, because I love this way of cooking!

Edit: I've tried numerous times to select the vegetarian recipes, but it still won't work.
Too bad, I was really looking forward to that...
