O, well, it's the same on all social media, I guess.

I say "take a pilow with you" immediately people start saying "I didn't use a pillow".
When I say insurance forbids tot drive within a certain amount of weeks after full aneastesia, immedialtely people say "I drove in a couple of days and had no problem."

Sometimes I wonder...

Thanks Aussis Girl, thanks DHB have started on one strong coffee first thing and then on the decaf for the rest of the day. Will do this for about a week and then hopefully drop to half cup for the few days upto surgery.

Well I had my surgery a week ago today and I feel bloomin marvellous. The process was very straight forward, very little pain or naseua. Was discharged ofter 2 days and am now back at work (desk job, shuffling paper about).

The only thing I am struggling with is getting enough puree! I feel great, alert and have plenty of energy and have lost 7kg in the week.

My drive back was good with some excess padding as discussed around the seat belt area. I am so chuffed I had it done as had been having (common by the sounds of it) real doubts the day or so before surgery. Caffiene is not missed, drinking decaff all the time now.
