Ulcer or Gall bladder pains

I hope you feel better soon. My doc prescribed Ursodiol 1 week after surgery and I have to take it for 6 months.

I feel for you I really do. I had exactly the pains you describe about 20 years ago while driving home and I had to do an emergency stop at a local doctors as I actually thought I was having a heart attack.
I was diagnosed about a week later with gallstones and ended up having my gall bladder out. I used to pass out because the pain was so bad, if you have the option, ask them to remove it to forestall more problems in the future.

Hoping this means that with surgery almost 5 years ago I'm safe from gallbladder problems.
