Severe, on-going (6+ months post op) GERD after sleeve??

Hello All,

Has anyone come across any statistics on:

% of sleevers that get severe, on-going (6+ months post op) GERD after sleeve?
AND
% of sleevers that have to get a revision due to severe GERD?

Right now this is my biggest concern. I currently have occasional mild to moderate acid reflux. (I use PPIs or acid reducers about 1 to 2 months out of the year.)

It really is hit or miss. Some people had issues pre op and none post op. Others never had issues and get GERD so severe they undergo a bypass a few years later. I had my hiatal hernia repaired during my sleeve. I had acid issues for a few months post op. I only get it occasionally now.
