My surgery went phenomenally well.

Breast lift today was a breeze. I was in and out of there in no time. Left and went to target, then to lunch, then to pick up some furniture I bought. Haven't taken any medication, and I feel great. I cannot believe how high they are!!! I'm truly shocked. He did such a good job. My youngest child welcomed me to the itty bitty titty committee upon seeing pictures. I'm thrilled to accept my new membership I am so please so far.

Oh, Dr is very concerned about blood supply once he did my markings. He immediately sent my mom to the compounding pharmacy to pick up some ridiculously priced spray that my husband has to spray on my nipples every two hours, and I also have nitro glycerin cream put on them every few hour for the same. That's kind of scary. He warned me about it during consult, but said we didn't need to go into detail unless it became a concern. Boo for me. So just really hoping it all goes well. I'm doing everything I can.

Well well hell! Just call me complicated Katrina. How quickly things change. Sometime in the early evening my right breast decided to rebel. It is massively swollen, hard, and intensely painful. Sent pictures to my doctor last night ht. He told me to immediately discontinue the nitroglycerin and the spray. I had the most miserable night. Haven't slept a wink. Sent him new pictures this morning, and he immediately called to let me know I'll be having surgery again this afternoon... as I was mid sip of my protein drink. He told me to put that down and nothing else to eat or drink. He's getting his team together and will let me know what time I need to be there. Wish me luck, guys. I feel a bit stressed out from hurting and not sleeping.

Surgery was at 1:30. I'm already out and on my way home. Still having a lot of pain, but the swelling is back down now that he drained all the blood out. I felt bad that that everyone had to come in on a Saturday, but at least it's rainy and ugly out and I didnt ruin a beautiful, sunny day. I should be good to go. He said for me to go home, take my pain medication, and get some sleep. I'm all for that sleep part. Hopefully I'll start feeling better after I get some good rest.
