I am SO HUNGRY

I am now starting to panic that I have not shrunk my liver enough, as i a seem to be the only person on this forum who has been on a low calorie pre op diet. I track my food everyday and on most days i am under the calorie allowance and under the carb allowance, however i am not sure if have eaten too much fat in the diet. I think it would have been better to be given the liquid diet only, Here is hoping I have done it correctly. I will only know when they take me to surgery if my liver has shrunk enough, so I hope it wont be a case of going to theatre and not being able to have the surgery, I am so worried now. Sorry to hijack this thread, but its the thread that has got me worried.

I did not have to do the 2 week liquid diet. My surgeon/insurance requirement was to lose 10 pound in 6 months before surgery....I surpassed that. Then I had to do the colon cleanse 3 days before surgery with clear liquids.The surgeon said my liver was perfect.

Don't stress I'm sure it will be fine!
