    Default First Time EVER!

OK, I've received compliments over the years with my weight loss, but now I don' t think people even remember me fat way back in 2013.

Yesterday at school the kids told a new teacher that my husband works for a chocolate company, and she said "Well then how do you stay so skinny?" No one has ever called me skinny before. Oh what fun!

(I don't consider myself skinny, just regular, but it was fun to hear.)

What a wonderful story! I was amazed a while back when I was described in my medical chart "...is a 60 year old, pleasant but obese woman". It was a bit weird, and upsetting.

I tried a snip (truly a snip) of dark chocolate, it was just not even good. My husband says I am now an alien.

Life is good But the good part is saying not just skinny, but you must be healthy looking as well And we all know you are nice!

Congrats! I remember when my orthopedic doc was dictating his notes while I was still in the office and he used the same term pleasant obese woman. No one had ever called me obese before let alone write it down in my chart what a depressing day that was. Now on to a new healthy life!

My gynecologist referred to me as Morbidly Obese and wanted to die.....I was totally embarrassed and humiliated - that was probably 17 years ago and I was probably 50 lbs lighter than I am now egads :-(

Well I was grateful to be thought "pleasant", any way. I just never realized they might right personal opinions in my chart! I was picking it up to take to one of my many "ologists" for something or other. I think the word "middle aged" may have also been in there.

I am still pleasant; I am NOT obese (hooray) and I am waaaay past middle age! And of course, I have a lovely primary care doctor and adore her...

It's totally clinical, not personal in any way but I understand that it upsets people :-( But Annie, your hair is looking sooooo cute :-)
