Sleeve surgery April 3!!!

I am getting my sleeve on April 3 - I just found this site - I know, what took me so long! I have several friends and family members who have had the sleeve so have been talking to them a lot but more support is always good!

I am nervous and excited! Excited that I will be able to feel physically better. Excited that when buying clothes my only thought will not be "will this make me look fat?" Nervous that my "head" hunger will make me regain weight later on. I have dieted many times - will lose weight for a while but always plateau and then get frustrated and say to hell with it, life is too short, eat the cheese!

Anyway - very happy to have found this site, have been stalking for a few days and then decided to post.

Any tips for after surgery that anyone has would be great -

Welcome, I'm 4 weeks after my sleeve, i don't feel hungry and for me I only want to eat food that is going to nourish me, when the weight starts falling off it inspires you to eat well. Obviously I can't say how you feel further down the line but I'm sure you don't want to go through a major operation only to sabatage yourself. Good luck with your op and ket us know how you are afterwards.
