Blood work

I had my first set of blood work done since surgery about 5 months ago. I used to be Type II diabetic with my last A1C being 5.6
(which is borderline diabetes) and that was being on two different diabetes meds. My cholesterol was 210, HDL 39, LDL 160 and triglycerides 150 (which is borderline high).

Well, 5 months without ANY meds and my A1C is now 5.1 (which is far from even borderline!!), total cholesterol down to 170, HDL is still 39 but LDL went down to 120. Triglycerides down to 85!!!

To top it all off, I went shopping for a new shirt for my date and was able to get an XL in the juniors at Target!! No more $50 - 75.00 shirts at Lane Bryant :P

Congrats! I feel the same way, I got blood work done and I was totally amazed. It's so amazing and I still can't believe that insurances refuse to cover the surgery. Having surgery stopped all of my health problems
