    Default Water.......Where I went wrong

    Hi everyone!
So, Sunday morning pain started in the right front of my abdomen and radiated to my back. Called the surgeon, they gave me some ideas but hard to say. Pain went away, went on with the day, prepared a big dinner for company, set the table, made dessert for them...and THEN IT HIT! I was upstairs curled up in a ball until everyone finished dessert and then I asked to go to the hospital. Any guesses at this point??? Anyone...anyone???..... KIDNEY STONES!!! guess why??? They are reasoning that it was my water intake. I have never made water or protein goal ever- I deserved what I got! So for every newbie following along at home, what have we learned? DRINK THE WATER!!! I'm trying. What a lesson to learn the hard way!
Hope everyone is well. I hit 80lbs today!!!

Thank you! I've learned that the scale is going to do what it's going to do. For the most part, I ignore it, but definitely celebrate the milestones. Good for you! Learn early how to drink that water. Post surgery, it will be a bit of a struggle but if you're doing it now you'll make that easier! Best of luck to you! it's quite a rollercoaster!

I've been meaning to tell you how wonderful you look! You're doing great! I'm sorry you had kidney stones. The surgeon said the lack of water can mess up everything! Keep drinking! You're almost done! Hooray!!!!!

That's a great thing! I was hardly ever using the bathroom for anything. Keep it up! drinking that water will be key for you. The protein too. I'm working on both too. Good luck to you!

I love that you let everyone finish their desserts before you went to the hospital. Now that's a hostess! And 80# in 3 mos has to be a record for women. All amazing. SO sorry about the kidney stones. Thanks for sharing the cautionary tale.... Hope you are feeling better.

Ooh kidney stones are terribly painful my husband has suffered with them 4 times over the years and seeing him rithing around in pain was traumatic to say the least so my sympathies to you. I must admit i really struggled at first with drinking but I'm ok now, my gag reflex seemed to be working overtime so it was hard to get enough water down, I did try ice which did help, I also used a straw. Thank you for sharing.
