Hi first day post surgury and already home! A fair amount of pain but a loving Partner makes all the difference starting this journey!

Glad everything went well. Reminder to walk frequently and sip frequently too. Walking will help decrease pain. Second week will be a lot better than the first. Getting to enjoy an amazing ride. Thank you all! Nice to be part of a community. My highest weight was 83 kilos. By the operation i was down to 79 kilos and today 77! A great beginning!

Love that positive attitude! Be sure to spend the first week sleeping a lot, that's the best thing for recovery. When you aren't sleeping you will be sipping and walking a little. And a good support person will mean the world to you during this whole journey! Every day will get easier. It is so much fun!

How exciting that you are home! Agreed that rest rest rest, walk walk walk and sip sip sip! But 2 weeks pass much more quickly. This is foundational time that will help you have a wonderful journey.

Thanks, that seems to be what my body is asking for lots of rest and sips of milk, water. My partner made some beef broth for me last night—delicious! Next week i can start fruit. My hospital dietition suggested sugarless baby food, no bits. What a good idea!
I did cancel pupils and renearsals for this weekend. I was supposed to play fpr a gallery opening on Sunday afternoon, but its clear the best course is just to enjoy rhe rest! Wonderful!

Thank you! Yes down to 75.1 this. Orning. Still eating kwark, yogirt and home-made broth. You went 10 lbs under your goal?! Wow!
