Hello from a Newbie

This is my first post. I am just rounding the corner of finishing up my 6 month insurance required diet. One month to go on their diet. I am getting excited but extremely nervous. I've almost been teetering on putting it off again but I really just want to get on with it and feel comfortable in my own skin again. Not being so self conscience about how tight my clothes fit or how big my belly is. I'm almost 40 years old and have never had any kind of surgery in my life. It looks like I could actually get my surgery scheduled as soon as May or June. Here's to the next step!

It is a really simple surgery, only very few people have complications. Look up what your BMI should be to be in the desirable range, and dream about what that will feel like. It's a reality, one beyond our wildest imaginations. You will love it! I've been loving it since 2013.

Being sleeved was the best decision I have ever made. I had never had any surgery previously either. Luckily I had no issues at all and every day I am getting closer to my goal weight. I'm loving buying smaller and smaller clothes

Hi Mark!

I waffled back and forth for a couple years about surgery before I went for it. I'm so glad I bit the bullet and did it! I'm almost 5 months out and about 50 lbs down.
It's the best decision I ever made. I feel great, my diabetes is now under control without meds, and I feel a lot more comfortable without all those extra lbs!

Welcome aboard! No regrets here about having the surgery. It SAVED MY LIFE!
