2 weeks later

Hi

I've had to register again as I forgot my password and I couldn't log on despite trying. I was Lucy-Joon now now Lucy-Joon10.

So it will be 2 weeks tomorrow since I had my sleeve, I was quite poorly for a few days just sleeping a lot but apart from that I've been doing really well. I haven't had much pain, I could not stomach the liquid painkillers so it very good that I haven't. I had shoulder pain but nothing that was overwhelming. My scars are healing really well, I'm eating fine and I found that I cannot stomach anything sweet. I am normally a terrible sweet tooth but now it doesn't not interest me. I want flavour, onions, garlic, vegetables everything fresh. I have always cooked from fresh but now i only want real food. I am hoping the sweet tooth has gone for good. The only thing I am struggling with is drinking, I am not drinking enough which for me is not good as I have always drank a lot of water. I am working on it every day to drink more, I find not being able to drink with meals hard to but it us still early days so I'll get there. I have lost 17lb so far and so many inches. Jeans that were too small are now getting too big, I need a belt so I am very pleased with that.

Well done, sounds like you are doing good. the drinking will get better. the sweet tooth may come back people say so just be aware! Congrats :-)

Sounds like things are going really great Lucy-Joon!! I know what you mean about the sweet things. I did not like them for quite a while after surgery. I do now, though. Not as much as I did before, though!
