    Default Measuring

I've read a lot of posts where people have recommended measuring for nsv's. I think I'd like to start measuring now to have a baseline (a little over 4 weeks before surgery). I'm sure the chest, waist and hips are a given, but what else do you measure? Upper arms, forearms, thighs, calves? Thanks for all the great advice 😁

I suck at measuring cause I'm not sure I start from the same place each time lol! Try measuring down your thigh to the same point each time before taking the tape around your leg. Neck, boobs at nipple height. I found I have lost the most in my waist and boobs so far - I think there is research out there confirming this for us girls.

I measure every Monday morning; it's heartening when the scales is "stuck" but the inches move!
My dr also does Fitness3D scan, which tells you whether you're losing fat or muscle. I've found it is very motivating to know.

But the nicest thing is when clothes button, then become too loose! or fall down!

I measured chest, hips, waist, thighs, biceps, and calves. I also took pictures wearing the same bra/panties every 2 weeks. Had them taken in the same spot to be able to see the progress/transformation.

I really like the Baritastic app; track my food, water, exercise, measurements and it also has a place for journaling. It's a free app and it works well on my phone.
