Continued prayers!
How is the hubby doing today? Are you all home?
Hey everyone! Sorry it’s taken me so long to respond. Adam was let out of the hospital yesterday afternoon. The lovinox we were prescribed is an odd dose and no pharmacy in north alabama had it so we had to order it over night. Thankfully it came today. Had to go back to the ER and get another lovinox shot for him until we got the meds. He’s still very weak and had painful spells where he doubles over and there is nothing we can do about it. He had kept everything down until just a few minutes ago when he threw up. He’s got to be on lovinox injections for a month. A weeks supply is $181 and that’s WITH insurance. A weeks worth! And he’s gotta be on it for at least a month! Oh well if he needs it he needs it. I’m thankful we have such good insurance or else it would be over $2,000.00 per weeks worth of doses. He had an appointment with our surgeon for a check up tomorrow and one with his hematologist as well. They’re starting to think he’s got an undiagnosed blood disorder due to how rare this is and that it’s NOT connected to his sleeve surgery. Hopefully we will get answers tomorrow. I want to personally thank everyone for all the kind prayers and words. Hey helped keep us sane in the hospital (not even kidding). Please keep praying that he gets better. He had a terrible pain and nausea episode when I called him from work. It was so bad he admitted it was starting to take a toll on his mental/mood well being. I can’t say I blame him. I’d be the same way too. Thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes! Keep them coming!
Glad to hear from yoy.
I am glad all is relatively well.
Can the doctors give an indication on how long this pain can last?
That must be so tiring.
I'll keep sending preyers and good vibes to the both of you.
Take care of yourself as well as your hubby.
XOXOX

WELL. That's rough. But sounds like good Drs. If he does have something else goingng on, it may be really great to know. Prayers
Hey everyone! Thank you all so much for the prayers! There working and we need them still! Got some good news. He went to his oncologist (yes, a cancer Dr!) and all of his blood and liver tests came back normal! Praise The Lord! What he had was so rare that they thought he might have had cancer of some sort. Thank God he didn’t! It was due to the sleeve surgery but that’s a risk you’ve gotta be willing to take when going through this. It’s just EXTREMELY rare. He’s still in pain and fighting nausea but he’s a little better everyday. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes! KEEP THEM COMING!
I am SO glad things went well with the oncologist! Your hubby is getting checked our from head to toe. Sending you blessings and prayers. Tell your hubby we are praying for you both and we wish him a speedy recovery.
