Good morning! New to this site. I had a lapband in 2009, lost 120lbs in the first year. Two "slips" over the next year; completely deflated for the past 6 years. I have regained 80lbs. Started my band removal/VSG journey in January of this year. Hoping for a late April surgery date. I found an on-line support forum/site very valuable when I had the band surgery, hoping for the same from this site!

Welcome Kate!! Sorry to hear about the band issues. We see a lot of that on here. I hope all goes well so you can get your sleeve in April. You may lose weight a bit slower than your first surgery (all secondary WLS tend to lose slower) but you will lose just the same. All our band to sleeve conversions do really well on here.
