Tomorrow is the day

My operation is tomorrow, I have been on the milk diet for two weeks and it wasn’t as horrendous as I thought, out of the two weeks I probably had 3 bad days. I didn’t feel hungry or light headed like I thought I would, the milk is quite filling. The jelly and bovril are a welcome break from the the milk, the only issue I had was my tongue felt really furry and glaggy despite drinking plenty of water but I used mouthwash which helped and my skin was dry but I started using baby oil on my wet skin the shower which also helped. I’m excited and nervous about tomorrow.

If your tongue felt that way you may want to get checked for thrush. I got that on the liquid diet. I had to get a prescription mouthwash to get rid of it about a week post op. Good luck with your surgery and wishing you a speedy recovery!
