Hello,
I am new and looking for all the good advice there is to give!
It will be over in the blink of an eye. My only advice is to keep a positive attitude and enjoy the ride, it's so much fun! And now without all that extra weight life is so much better! You'll do great.
Thanks! I am excited! Just getting that nesting feeling, making sure all appointments are made and completed for my family, house is clean and organized (like anyone really cares if my towels are folded correctly in my linen closet, or my Tupperware is organized!) And I can't wait to burn my old wardrobe!!! just kidding but I am excited to visit that part of my closet I haven't seen in years! Thank you for the Heating pad idea and walking the gas right out of me. And being positive I believe your right! the right attitude means everything! Thanks guys!
Follow the rules. Read as much as you can now. Ask for help/advice when you need it. Take progress pictures and measurements now and then every 2 weeks after surgery. Sometimes when the scale is not moving you are still shrinking. Almost everyone stalls between weeks 2-5 and freaks out. Don't freak out, stalls are normal. Immediately post op your focus is to stay hydrated. Then it will be protein. Then protein and veggies. You will need vitamins. You can do this. Get excited!! You are about to go for a wild, wonderful ride!
