Husband has a successful sleeve!

Yesterday my husband had gastric sleeve surgery and is doing so well. I’m so proud of him. He was able to immediately get up and walk with no problem, drink small sips of water, and eat a few popsicles during the night. By golly I know y’all won’t believe me but it already looks like he’s lost weight in his stomach, arms, and back. I’m not the only one that’s noticed it either. Thanks for all the well wishes! Looks like we will be headed back home soon!

Aw well thank you so much! I appreciate that! I’m lucky to have him because I needed him last year when I had mine. He took such good care of me and I’m teyinf to do the same for for him.

Thanks everyone! Today has been a little rough after the meds have worn off. He had to take some liquid pain meds and thankfully they’re kicking in. And YES HE WOKE UP WITH HIS FULL BEARD!!!! YYYAAAYYY!!!!!

I’ve passed on all the kind words and well wishes to my husband and he said thank to all of you! The sedation from yesterday is wearing off and as soon as we got home I made him take some pain meds. He’s deep asleep on the couch with his cat on him. Lol tomorrow starts the full liquid diet and he should do very well with it.

He’s been my best friend since I was 15 and this had honestly brought us even closer together already.
