Did you have trouble wearing button and zip pants after a couple weeks where the incision sights were? I am just wondering that i can't wear sweatpants when i go back to work....
I didn't, my incisions never hurt. But if yours do, just dress comfy! A dress with boots would be cute. (Or maybe it's not boot season in CA!)
My incisions weren't at my waist or where my pants rubbed so I actually wore jeans a couple days after surgery without discomfort. The incisions will be covered with a surgical tape but you can always put a band aid over them if necessary. My tape crumbled off pretty quickly and my incisions healed very fast. (I used Vitamin E on them.) I really didn't have discomfort at the incisions themselves. Also, my pants became baggy after a couple weeks so for the first time in a long time I was wearing loose pants.Trust me, once those too tight pants become too loose, that's all you'll be thinking about!
Nope. Didn't bother me at all. My incisions weren't on the part of my stomach next to my waistband(s).

So this is an interesting thread bc my lowest incision is about 3 in above my waist which surprised me at the time. It's possible that surgeons use different techniques which may result in different incision locations.
