Surgery Eve

It's my surgery eve and I just wanted to thank all of you for your posts and messages. It has been an important part of my process from deciding if this was right for me to feeling prepared for the days, weeks, months and years ahead. Thank you all for sharing and supporting me and everyone else here. Surgery is in Dallas, TX tomorrow morning.

How did it go??

Thank you all. Surgery went very well. Pretty painful and uncomfortable the first 24 hours but managed with meds. Thanks for all of the sip, sip and walking advice. Within 4 hours of the surgery I was able to walk down the hall and 4 hours after that, I was able to make five roundtrips. Focusing on staying mobile, sipping water and at least two small protein drinks per day. Getting excited about the weight to start dropping.
