I am 19 days postop, was down 24 pounds as of 15 days post op. Now up 2 pounds and scale has been stuck for days. I have upped protein and water, still on full liquids. Even worked out a gym for first time in years but no movement. Very frustrating.

Your muscles are retaining water trying to recover and repair themselves from going to the gym for the first time in years. Don't worry, it'll even itself out and you'll start losing again. It happens to me every time I get a bug up my ass and do a few squats. Admittedly, that's rare. ;-) You've got this. Hang in there.

24lbs in 15 days is a lot. Could you have done that before surgery? As so many say on this forum, it's a marathon, not a sprint. You will get there in your own time. Hang on in there.

You're experiencing the 3 week stall. Relax, keep following the program, and the scale will start moving again. Almost everyone experiences a stall between 2-5 weeks with week 3 being the most common. Most people will experience a few during their journey. Hang in there!
