    Default #shouldhavegotupearlier

I'm a great consistant exerciser but gawd I am bad at getting up early enough. Because I live in Queensland the summers can get super hot and it is wise to get yourself out of bed at 5 am to get to the gym or go for a run. In reality I am often to be found pounding the bike path on a run at 10 am mumbling 'should have got up earlier'! I always do it, but ya know, #shouldhavegotupearlier.

My gym is also better at 5.30am as it's a massive shed, no aircon there.

Everytime I get up early and get a crossfit and a run in I am sooooo happy. I have the best day. And when I get up early it's fine, I am often awake early rolling around in bed thinking I should get up! So I've been going on about this for the last couple of years... my most used hashtag on instagram is #shouldhavegotupearlier. It's become a big joke! LOL.

So anyway, this morning I flung myself out of bed at 5 am and I am done and dusted whooooppppppp. I know I've said it before but I'm totally going to get up earlier this year!!! Yeahhhh.

    Are you an early exerciser?

I work early in the morning...like 4am. I get my 10 flights of stairs in there. After work I go to the gym. I try to make sure I get up at the same time all week. On the weekends I go to the gym the same time I would be at work. It seems to work well for me.

We are having the opposite weather, you know, so I get up early, stick my nose out of the quilt, maybe look at my phone for the temp and usually burrow under again. I hate getting out of my warm bed in cold weather. But I'm trying....

Only if you mean early morning exercise is getting out of bed and getting ready for work??!! Oh I can now add breakfast protein smoothie preparation to my daily exercise routine now haha.....

Guess I'll have to wait and bit longer to see the positive effects of weight loss on the poor joints (still recovering from hip surgery last Oct).

Good news is I seem to have more energy since surgery and I am doing more around the house, little steps, I may never run marathons but would love to see what can do with my smaller body ....

It will get better! I know sometimes I struggle in the moment, wanting to see results right away. Give it a month or two then look back. You will be shocked.

Talk about opposite temps, 0 here this morning! But I will have a pretty walk through my woods with a little snow when it gets up to about 20 later on. I'm the warm clothing expert!

Hubby and I like 5:30 am body pump at the gym, but on the days I work (I substitute teach) that isn't an option. I definitely am a morning person and like to get my exercise in early. Like if today was a beautiful day my walk would be done.

Well definitely an early morning exerciser, when I did exercise
Y'all are certainly encouraging me to think about it...that said, I have meetings every Mon, Tue, Wed & Thurs for the next 6 weeks - which will pass even if I don't exercise. Hmm...I think I need to get up and moving.
I do walk -- but fairweather
    [I]HW: 240 lbs SW: 199 lbs GW: 140 lbs

    1 MO = 167.0 2 MO = 156.4 3 MO = 148.4 4 MO = 140.6
    5 M) = 136.0 6 MO = 130.0
    1 YR = 122.0 2 YR = 140.00 2.5 YR = 139
Happy with my weight; happy with my size; over-the-moon with my health!

Hahaha. You are so silly. I am totally a early riser to exercise. I do it because if I wait to do it at night I can always find an excuse not to do it or something comes up. I prefer to get up early and knock it out.

Haha you're a goodie foxy lady. i always do it even if its sundown but you will be proud of me this week because i've started to go to the gym at 5.30 am and it's been okay. I still often leave it late in the day to run though!!! LOL. But I do it! Nice that Queensland has cooled down this week for a bit :-)
