Hello from New Zealand

Hello everyone.

I have been lurking around the periphery for a while and thought it was time I joined and introduced myself.

I am 55 years old and had my surgery on 4th September 2017 at Ormiston Hospital in Auckland New Zealand. My surgeon was Stephanie Ulmer.

Similar story to a lot of others on here. Overweight most of my life. Tried every "Diet" known to mankind. They worked for a while but were never sustainable.

My pre Optifast weight was 124.3kg today I am 87.6kg and not finished yet!

I am loving my new life.

I have taken great inspiration from everyone on here and had a lot of my questions answered.
I look forward to (hopefully) being a contribution member of the forum.

Congrats on your surgery and your weightloss, it sounds fantastic and you must feel a million dollars!

HI Lisa, well done on your great achievement. I am due to have my surgery in April and have been so nervous and wondering what weight I will lose. Looking at people's stats on this forum is very encouraging. Keep it up.

Hey and welcome to the group! So glad you’re doing so well with your sleeve! I noticed that you’re from NZ. Peaked my interest because I used to go to school in the same city you were sleeved in.
