My husband & I are having the sleeve done Friday by Dr. Almanza! We are both so excited. I am a little nervous, so anything you can share would be great! Did you feel totally comfortable being in another country having this major surgery? And what about when you got home- were you worried about follow up for complications??

At first I was a little nervous about having it in Mexico, it was also my first time out of the US, but I knew SO many people who had it done with DR. Almanza & I read almost every review on the weightloss website. I was honestly more nervous about the long flight to and from. Don't be nervous! the first week is the hardest but EVERYONE says it is the best thing they've ever done. I wasn't nervous about complications, just make sure you have a doctor back home and stay hydrated sip on poweraids and water. Weight loss agents also say if you're worried about anything, you can make a trip back to Mexico for a follow up with them.
