    Default Almost time

I weigh 204 the last 4 days are a strict liquid diet...
Does anyone know if I can eat the meaty part of grapefruit and does everything have to be clear?

    Thanks all.
    M.

Which part of your process are you at Mischelle? Preop or post op? Regardless, liquid is liquid so no meaty part of anything. If it's solid and won't pour then it's off your list :-)

Like Stacey said: you can't pour a grapefruit... strict liquid means just that: liquids only.
You'll survive this... hang in there.
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

In the practice i was went through. Week one is only fluids. Let the swelling subside and your interior incision line heal.

No one else mentioned this and I might be wrong (I don't eat grapefruit - can't stand the smell) but besides it not being clear liquid isn't grapefruit high in acids?

According to her ticker she is in the pre op diet. That being said you should be doing just liquids as your surgeon requested. The only "solids" on the liquid part would be sugar free jello or sugar free popsicles. Hang in there. It will get easier. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
