Yep - you don't have long at all!!! Just remember what everybody is saying - that first week may be rough, but it DOES get better. Please let us know how you are progressing!

Hi there,

I am 4 weeks post op and it has not been nearly as hard as I expected! The pre-op diet was waaaay harder for me. I was just so happy to eat real food that the fact that it is pureed does not phase me at all! Yesterday I was preparing a meal of puree beans, chicken and a tablespoon of applesauce, and my son looked on in disgust - but it was delicious! I have my 1 month apt. on Friday, but I think I have lost about 30 lbs total since pre op diet, and about 12 since my day of surgery - not as fast as some folks, but I can definitely feel those 30lbs gone! So good luck with your surgery, and you will be on your way toward a healthier and happier you in no time!

Yay!! Your date is almost here. And before you know it, you will be navigating this site with no issues. I remember in the beginning what a pain it was to use.
