    Default Entering Year Two

Hello everyone! I’m going into my second year beingnsleeved. I’ve lost 116 so far. I know I won’t loose as much as I did in my first year but I was wondering if I will still continue to loose this second year? What did everyone else experience in their second year? Can’t wait to hear from everyone!

Wow just wow! You are a whole less person! That is amazing I bet that even though it may go a little slower, you will keep on losing as long as you keep on eating the way you have been, and you will meet that goal before you know it!

Thanks so much! I still am very strict on myself and I only eat low carb low fat low cal and only allow myself 4 ounces of food at a time. I’m still far away from my 132 goal but maybe I’ll make it by the end of the year.

I'm in it now so I am in maintenance because I have lost all I need to add. I am sure you will continue to lose. I have seen many sleevers continue to lose. You have done such an amazing job already. Wishing you continued success.

It took me 18 months to lose all my excess weight -- lost my final 15 (of 100 pounds) during the final 9 months of weight-loss.

IMHO, there's absolutely ZERO reason to believe you cannot continue to lose weight. It's all about the amount of food you eat, the quality of food you eat (calories do count, but all calories aren't equal, so to speak), your exercise, your hydration, your supplements, your commitment and, in my experience, your ability to weather life's never-ending stresses without self-medicating with food.

FYI, when I was three years post-op, I decided to raise my 5 daily veggies and fruits to 8 a day. What happened? Eating more veggies and fruits added an extra 100 daily calories (on average) to my daily intake (up to 1,850 cals/day). And I lost another 5 pounds. Yup. Not kidding. Not at all.

    You can do this!

    Consult: 235 lbs
My and doc's preop diet: 216 -19 lbs
    M1 postop 205 -30
    M2 193 -42
    M3 184 -51
    M4 174 -61
    M5 167 -68
    M6 162 -73
    M7 156 -79
    M8 151 -84
    M9 148 -87
    M10 146 -89
    M11 144 -91
    M12 143 -92
    M13 142 -93
    M14 140 -95
    M15 139 -96
    M16 137 -98
    M17 135 -100

Thank you all so much for all the encouragement! I’m realky hoping to get To 132 by the end of the year. It’s January so it’s completely possible. I always weigh and measure everything I eat and I try not to go over 800-1000 calories a day. Sometimes I do slip up and I taken 1200 but that’s hard for me to do. Thanks so much and seriously y’all are the best!
