    Default Travel Post Op

I had my surgery 9/15/17 and have traveled by plane a couple of times since the surgery. I've noticed that now I have to be searched when going through security based on the heat map on the scan.

Has anyone had this happen to them since the surgery? I didn't have the full feel up before the surgery and travel quite extensively for my work.

would love some thoughts on this one!!!

I have never heard of that.
Did someone tell you why that was exactly?
Can they see something has changed inside?
    That actually freaks me out...
Please note: after months of reading I decided I wanted to be more active here and I want to write more. But please bear in mind, that English is not my first language, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications. I am doing the best I can!

No it just keeps happening...I thought I would ask people on here.

I guess I need to send a note to my surgeon. It's really weird...

    It is a heat map?
So they can't see the staple line?
The staples have the same temperature as the rest of the body of course, but maybe they do give a different image?
Please let us know, what your surgeon says?

My surgery was 11/14 and I've traveled several times without any change. I have TSA pre-check but I still go thru body scanners. I've done both the regular and the full body scan without incident.

I have flown several times since the surgery and have not had any issues. I even flew to Europe. No issues there either.
