    Default Big Day Tomorrow

Tomorrow is surgery day! Three days of liquid diet has been pretty hard, anything and everything food related looks and smells amazing. God bless those who have to go 10-14 days pre-op. Pretty nervous for my first surgery, fingers crossed for smooth sailing during surgery and recovery.

My advice is sleep as much as you can that whole first week after surgery. When not sleeping be sure to be sipping your protein shakes and taking little walks. Keep a journal to log your protein and liquid intake, I had a minimum to meet for both. And remember, the protein drinks count as both.

Good luck! This journey is so much fun! You have FINALLY found a way to get healthy and smaller for good!

Good luck! I'm sure you'll do great. Walk as much as you can after surgery to get rid of the painful gas. Yep week 1 a lot of people question themselves on why did I do this? It gets better. Day by day. Sip sip sip walk walk walk. Oh and don't forget to sip!

So far it's been really rough. I was the first to go into surgery, walking has not helped the gas come out. Throwing up yesterday and today. Hurts to breath and walk but I was walking a lot. I know it will payoff in the long run but extremely rough right now

It does get better. It was major surgery. Just keep follow the rules. Hugs my friend.
