Hello everyone! This is my first time on this website and I’m just looking to make new friends that have the same life style as me now hahaha
I had my VSG last Wednesday January 3rd and am feeling great so far! I’m really interested in people’s recipes that they love, day to day motivation : )

Congrats! It's an amazing journey! Make sure you take body measurements (I didn't and regret it now), and take a lot of pictures. I frequently cycle through pictures on my phone of my before and then progress pictures to remind myself of how far I've come. It is amazing to see!

Congrats on your new sleeve. I am so glad you are feeling so well post op. It will continue to get a little easier each day. I was also lucky and felt pretty great almost immediately. A little sore and tired the first few days but after that I was healing quickly. Once you get the hang of navigating the site, it is such a great place to be. First helpful hint is when you want to reply to someone specifically just click on "reply with quote" under their post so that they know that the reply was meant for them. I know it took me a bit in the beginning but I promise it will get easier.

Take pictures now if you haven't yet. Make sure they are the most unflattering ones possible. It will really help with motivation and before/during/after. Trust me. I really wish I had more pictures from before but when your as big as a house you do everything possible to avoid the camera! I do have a few so that is something. I didn't take measurements and so wish I would have.

One of the greatest motivations for me is the nsv (non scale victories). Oh so many of those! Be ready because they are coming soon to you.

Aweeeee! Thank you for the great words! I almost died when I looked at my surgery day picture! Hahahaha but yes! I plan to take one every month to celebrate the small victories!

I too just joined the forum about two days back and i can bet you that this place is full of really good well wishers. They can really guide you too.. few information which you may require but havent been told so by the doctor yet..
I have my surgery due on 26th January '18 and already super excited for the same.
