Nauseous during pre-op diet

I'm in day 7 of my Per-op diet. Last night driving home and this morning going to work, I felt like throwing up when I thought about having to eat the same food again. Is this normal?

My pre-op diet consists of lettuce, bell pepper, celery, cucumber, broccoli, and cauliflower. I can have 2.5 of either chicken, or jerky.
and 2 meal replacement shakes.

I think this is common and I did feel this way about protein shakes for a while. I think we start off a bit carb addicted and carbs are very comforting for the tummy!! We have to get used to new things. You're going good and this is good pereparation for after the surgery. Hang in there :-)

That would make me throw up too. I just did the protein shakes during my pre-op diet. Raw veggies I would think would irritate a pretty empty stomach. Good luck, just know it's almost over and the fun is about to begin!
