    Hello everyone,
    Brand new to the forum and Day 4 out of post op... So far i belive everything is going good.. I have not learned to take my time drinking yet and have paid with sharp pain on and off.. Weight before surgery was 304.6 and im currently at 286.4.. Thanks for reading!!!

    You've come to the right place. The first days are the toughest so congratulations on doing so well. And I am still learning to drink and eat more slowly. It takes awhile to break bad habits!

    Hi and welcome to the forum, I'm 6 weeks out and still sometimes eat too fast then hiccup like crazy!!! Keep resting and sipping and walking a bit, the time flies and each week gets better and better. Congrats! :-)

    Hang in there. The first week is the hardest but it will get a little bit better and easier each day. Once you start on real foods (soft or solids), you really have to be careful about eating slowly. It takes a while before you realize how much your new "full" is and what the signal is. Because when you do eat too much or too fast....you will regret it. But you will learn...because it is very unpleasant. Good luck to you. Be active on here and you will get a lot out of this site.
