3 days post op

I am very early in things. As of right now I am 3 days post op getting about 2liters of liquid, 30 grams of protein and about 250 calories. Also I am able to swallow pills even the big vitamin ones I hope this doesn’t hurt me.

Where was your surgery done at? Did you go to Mexico?

I had my surgery done in Newfoundland, Canada

My surgeon told me I was not to take pills for a minimum of 3 weeks post op. He said all pills/vitamins were to be in liquid or chewable form. I was even told to take my BP meds by crushing them and adding a bit of water. It was nasty. Sounds like you are recovering well if you are already able to get that much fluids in. I struggled a lot in the beginning with getting my protein and fluids in.

Sounds like you're doing great.

FTR, my doc had no problem with me taking regular-sized pills early on. Fortunately, none of mine were/are all that big, so no problemo.
