Christmas Party fun

So there is nothing more satisfying that going out shopping for clothes and everything looks freaking great. Thank you, thank you, thank you sleeve!! I had so many things to choose from. My one issue was trying to find something I would be warm in. All those spaghetti straps this time of year is not for me anymore.
I needed some cowboy boots. (I am a Texan now...so it was on my Christmas list but hubby got them for me now.) We went to the store and I found some I loved. They are actually comfy! We were going to my work Christmas party. I work for a fortune 500 company so our parties are huge. There is always a theme you can dress up to or just go dressed up. This year was 80's or Country based on the 2 performers they had. We chose country. So when I got my boots my hubby found 2 new country shirts. One was black and blue which would not go with my new dark brown boots. The other we went with had Christmasy colors of red, cream, and brown. I figured that I would be able to find something that would match.
Went to Kohl's and had so many beautiful dresses to chose from. I figured I would go with a red dress. The hardest part was finding a little sweater to go with it. There was not a whole lot that would go with something dressy. I know we live in South Texas but it has been cold this winter. It was in the 40's and raining last night.
We had such a great night. The party had awesome headliners. We ate, danced, and had fun with friends. It doesn't get any better than this!

Aw thanks! I am definitely not going to waste this do over at being healthy that I have been given. I think the most amazing thing is to not just sit there and stuff myself eating like I used to do. I had some and was done. Then focused on everything else. My brain was not like...food...food.....food!!

Yes. It is so great not to be dominated by food thoughts. I think I am blessed because my mentality changed a lot with the sleeve.

Thank you Stacey. It was so great to try on dresses and have a hard time choosing because they all looked super fabulous. Only one I didn't like because it was too long with the boots I was wearing. But the others were fabulous. There was one that was sweater material and super cute but it rarely gets cold like this in Texas so I figured it would be a waste. I can get more use out of the one I picked. It has like thick tank top width straps so I can wear it with or without a sweater. And it is super cute.

Thanks Dale. I was not a fast loser either but I still got there. I feel like a million dollars. And I am still a work in progress as I keep toning more and more with the exercise.

Can of biscuits LOL! I once had to wear this tee shirt for a union march at work, i had to totally squeeze myself into it and i looked like a stuffed sausage!!!!! But it was the only one left. I also got stuck in a dress once at dress ups at a castle, it was medieval and I totes wanted to wear it, I was all stuck with my arms like a stick insect!!!!! It will be so good when everything just totally fits easy :-)
