    Default Books/Cookbooks?

I was just wondering if anyone could suggest a book about post sleeve life? Or if anyone knows of a good post sleeve cookbook?
    TIA!

I think any low carb cookbook can work.

    Hi Amanda!

There are several to choose from on Amazon.com. My wife and I have purchased a couple and they appear to have some really interesting takes on classic dishes, as well as some great new ideas for post-VSG patients.

I mentioned this the other day on a different thread, but go check out ASAP http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/

She does a great job with bariatric-friendly recipes.

Eventually, as you build a lifelong maintenance lifestyle to maintain your weight, you'll be able to eat anything -- so as Christie said above any cookbooks that emphasize both animal and plant protein, nutritious vegetables, fruits and whole grains are great. I actually cook a good deal out of a heart-healthy cookbook I've used for years.
