First appointment next week

So I recently decided to bite the bullet and look at the sleeve. I meet with the Dietitian and surgeons office next week, so at this point I'm not even sure if I qualify. I've read things that have scared me, and things that make me hope I qualify. I'll know more next week, I hope!

It it relatively easy to see if you qualify. Most insurance plans require a BMI between 35-40 with 1/2 co-morbidities (high cholesterol, high blood pressure, CAD, Sleep Apnea, etc.) or a BMI over 40.

My BMI is 39.75 or 40 depending on which chart you look at and I really only have 1 co-morbidity (sleep apnea). They are going to try and push it through with my cholesterol as my triglycerides are high. I haven't really been watching whay I eat as I may need 2 pounds to push my BMI up. Oh, the hoops ��

Crazy that 2 #'s make the difference between covered and not. Let the docs push from their side based on their findings.
