Good evening. I have decided it is time to get the sleeve. I'll have many questions in the future.
Good evening. I have decided it is time to get the sleeve. I'll have many questions in the future.
Welcome! Do your research and read up as much as you can. Like Christie said ask anything. We have all been where you are. Congrats to making the decision to change.
I know for me it was the right choice. I did change change the way I ate when I met with my nut (nutritionist). I lost 51 pounds before I finally had surgery. Since then I've lost an additional 71 pounds in 6.5 months. I literally half the person I was and only I pounds away from goal weight!
I'm no longer on blood pressure meds, cpap, reduced asthma meds. My chronic back and knee pain has been reduced greatly! Sadly the damage has been done for being overweight for all of my adult life. Hopefully I won't be doing any more damage to my poor joints!
Imho change the way you eat asap and commit to your new life. It will make life easier after surgery. Also the surgery is just a tool. It will not fix the head so seek help if you need. Best of luck!
