Default When will it be comfortable again?

    Heyo, sleevers. o/

So officially 4 months out, 47 lbs down (from surgery date). I was hoping I'd have lost more by now, but I'll take it. Anyway, for all you veteran sleevers out there, is there ever going to be a time when eating doesn't hold some form of discomfort? I don't mean that there is pain. It's not painful.

I mean uncomfortable pressure, churning, and never having that nice "full" and satisfied feeling. "Full" to me, because I don't feel it in my tummy, is the sensation of food going up my chest. Most food, unless it's soup, soft or pureed, just feels like a brick passing through my system.

Does this ever get better or is eating now a slow and tedious chore for the rest of my life?

    All feedback is appreciated!!

Not a veteran but at almost 7 months out I still get that feeling but it isn't as intense all the time when I eat.

AHHHH!!! Don't say you ONLY lost 47 pounds in 4 months. Do you realize how crazy that sounds? Have you ever in your life lost 47 pounds in 4 months? You need to shout it from the rooftops, "I have lost 47 pounds in ONLY 4 months!!" Get excited, you're doing great! A positive attitude will take you far.

I'm 4 years out and eat just like a normal person. It is in no way a slow, tedious chore. I eat at the same rate as anyone else. No pain at all unless I eat too much. (But I've learned my lesson and really don't do that). I feel exactly like I did before surgery, except now I don't eat like a pig, or look like a pig either. It is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

I only remember the yucky, way too full feeling after a bite or two in the first 2 or 3 months. I would say you are pretty close to feeling normal.

I eat pretty normal now. I can still eat too much or too fast but I would have to be inhaling it. A lot of things looked brighter to me around the 10 month mark. That is also when my constipation went away.
