    Default Coping okay, I think.

I had my sleeve done on 30/11. Now I'm home and I feel like I've got no interest in food whatsoever.
That's a big change from the person who went I to have the sleeve done.
I feel nauseous after sipping my fluids and feel so full.
Hoping its normal and I can't wait to get my strength back.
It does take its toll on the body, so I'm trying to rest when I can.
Got shivers today, feeling quite cold. It's a bit overcast outside, so
I'll put a jumper on before going for a little walk.
When did everyone start driving again?
Just little steps, I keep saying.

I started driving a week post op. The first week is the hardest. It will get a little easier every day. I had no desire to eat in the beginning either. Just keep sipping to avoid getting dehydrated. You will get cold a lot easier now. Wait until summer when you sweat a lot less. I used to sweat buckets. To the point it was embarrassing. No matter how much antiperspirant I put on I would still have wet pit marks. Not anymore.

    Thanks for your help.
I sweat so much, at work they'd ask if it's raining outside because my hair would be dripping wet.
Very embarrassing. Less sweat will be good.

First week I basically slept. When I was awake I walked a little and sipped my protein drinks/water. I had no interest in food whatsoever, that was the best part. That's why you lose quickly those early months. Sounds like you are doing great. Keep drinking, resting, and taking care of yourself. You are in for the ride of your life!

Oh and I could drive once I was off my pain meds, and I wasn't on them for long.

Thanks all. I'm up early and feeling better than yesterday. Stomach is still tender, to be expected, I guess.
I managed to sip orange juice and some yoghurt with my pills crushed in it.
    Slow steps as you say.
My throat is also feeling better.
Hoping everyone is going well, too!

My tummy was pretty tender for a couple of weeks but now at week 4 it feels like nothing ever happened! I'm still super bruised though with clexane. I wouldn't win a bikini contest LOL XXX

    Hahahaha! No. I definitely wouldn't.
You'll look great in a bikini soon Stacey. Bruises will disappear before you know it.
