First he said a regiment of ibuprofen. I mentioned my sleeve and he said well that won't work. I got a steroid injection in both knees that he said should really help. No mention of knee replacement anything that's good news.
But he did say no running as it's too hard on my knees. Said I could do anything else. (If he had said no mountain climbing or skiing I may have just died.). This is the second doctor who has told me this, when I recovered from my broken neck and asked my neurosurgeon if I could run he said, "Sure, but why would you want to? It's bad on your joints."
So I will listen, now that I even have a second opinion. But it makes me sad, as running made me feel great, and really helped keep the weight off.
Today at school I will be walking quite gingerly. They said I should be good to get back to my exercise routine in 2 or 3 days.
