Trail Run-Turkey Trot-Exercise is the BEST!

Had a wonderful trail run this morning. It was a last minute find and super cheap. We only paid $7.50 each to participate. It was a great way to start off my morning. Ran some other errands and then went to our HS football playoff game. Thankfully we won again. We have not lost a game all season. Naturally now every game is a lot harder as it is all the best ranked teams from all the districts. This game was pretty easy for us. Let us see how the next one plays out. Fingers crossed we keep the momentum going. Had some yummy Texas barbeque for dinner. I am adding some pictures of the hubby and me at our run today. He has lost 45 lbs since being on this journey with me.

After the run. (My hair is not that red but the sun made it look super red.) It had warmed up quite a bit.

I just loved the medal's they did. They are just so cute compared to the ones you usually get.

Yes!! I just loved the medal. So stinking cute!! I told the organizer that they should always do those as they are too cute. They would change the logo but always use the wood medallion.

I used to hate taking pictures as well. I love it now. I look so much better than I did a year ago. Love my new sleeved body. Your surgery is coming up and you will be loving yours before you know it!

This is so cool! I miss living near hiking trails and the countryside. Living in NYC is lively and interesting but the older I get the more I just want to live somewhere greener.

I agree. I love doing things outdoors. San Antonio is pretty great because it is a big city and lots to do but I live on the outskirts so I am close to green!!

Oh but you have Central Park! I'm always amazed at how huge it is and how I keep exploring it and find new little gems every time.
