6 month update: so much to be thankful for!

Hope everyone will have a great thanksgiving today. I know I will! A year ago I was 1 month into my new life. Even though I had surgery in may of this year I committed myself to change so that was the begining for me. I never dreamed that 6 months after surgery I would be where I am physically and mentally! Setting the bar very high for a 6 month goal of 150 pounds, I seriously thought I wouldn't reach. Well I hit that last month!!! I'm still amazed.

Big nsv's this past month have been clothing size and (drum roll please) I'm officially smaller than my daughter! That right there is something I never thought would happen. As for the clothing part I had to do more bra shopping. When I started my band size was 42 at my biggest. Well last week I had to get a 32! The cup size is bigger than I am because of the extra skin I have to tuck in, gross I know but it is better than the alternative of being fat. So I will tuck away! Also I'm in a size 6 down from a 26! So much success in a year!

This is my first big holiday being sleeved and handling all the food. I know I will be fine. Protien first but I know I will most likely have a cracker and a tiny piece of bread. I'm not going to deprive myself of a little taste. It is all about moderation and balance.

So here are the totals:
This month even with a 2 week stall I lost 7 pounds!
Total weight loss 117 in 13 months
Bmi 52 down to 26

My only regret is not having this done sooner!
