sraebaer, I don't think you're crazy for wanting to be held accountable; I think you're "smart." I've been thinking the same thing and I work in a bariatric surgery center where I see patients every day; that's one of my tools for accountability but still think I need a personal tool if I ever want to retire (and I do) because accountability is important to me.

Congrats on the new baby. You can do this. Remember you are worth it and that you want to be around and healthy for your son. Also, as others have said, it could be post partum. Be sure to rule that out. Wishing you success getting back on track. A personal trainer will take no mercy. Good choice.
