Hallo!
Gosh I was just having a look through the before and after pictures and don't people look younger!! Some have lost a couple of decades! Now I know it's about health and all kinds of things too but gosh people must be pretty pleased with how much younger they look!
Some lovely results there.
In other news I am off to the support group at my surgeons practice tonight. I'm a bit nervous because I don't know anybody, but I'm sure it will be fine. They are talking about research tonight and it all sounds really interesting.
I had another appointment with my psychologist this morning which was so good. We were talking about the timeline in weight loss and about the maintenance especially which was great. It was like putting a plan in place and I learnt heaps I didn't know. I also get to see her a few times afterwards along with my dietitian so thats good.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the meeting tonight and I will let you know how it goes :-)

Oh, news on the support group. It was very nice and I met some lovely people who I think I could make good friends with. I mingled and picked my people :-)
Christmas party next month, I shall rock up with my protein shake! It was good fun tonight though and I'm glad I went :-)

I was sleeved at age 68, and I think I look about 80 years younger now. Seriously, I feel about 30 years younger than the age on my driver's license. And I don't look too bad for an old broad.

I definitely FEEL younger, and think I look younger too. Now we just need a surgery to reverse our age. This photo is my daughter, granddaughter and me. Do I look 60??? Say no.

I totally agree. It is amazing how much all that extra weight ages you. My before and after pics are in my blogs. I feel younger too! It is amazing how much better this surgery makes you look and feel!
