Difficulty Burping

Hey-ho sleevers! o/

Hope everyone is doing good and gearing up for the holidays.

I am 11 weeks post-op and 46 lbs down!!!!

Just wanted to check in with you folks to see if anyone had/has difficulty belching post-op. I have read many bloggers saying the opposite is true... they can't stop belching. Not me!

For me, however, getting the air to come up is not only difficult but often uncomfortable. That is to say, quite a bit of noise occurs (orchestral levels sometimes!), churning, gurgling, and I may eventually get 1 belch to come up, but it is hardly anything at all. I do not have problems with excessive wind going in the other direction, thankfully!

Has anyone else had this difficulty?

Sorry, I'm the exact opposite. I can't stop belching. I think that is my signal I am done eating.

I have had that sometimes. I pat my chest to help it out. Or have my husband burp me. Sounds silly but it works.
