    I have the Nutri Bullet.
    Small, yet powerful.
We are fulltimers, living in a small motorhome (weel, it would be considered small in the US ) and I don't have much storage space, but this fits exactly in my cupboard.
English is not my first language anymore, so I may and do make mistakes in my spelling, or say things oddly. Please ask me, if you want any clarifications.

Since the pureed phase was only 2 weeks, I didn't bother purchasing any new appliances. My 14-year-old blender worked just fine (if I needed it, but I didn't).

I bought pureed-consistency foods that I didn't need to place into a blender such as pudding, cottage cheese, yogurt, creamed soups, ricotta, jello, and refried beans with melted cheese.

Again, I saw no need to purchase a fancy blender or food processor for a phase that lasted only 2 weeks.

I bought the cheapest (basic) bullet at Costco. Now that I'm not pureeing food anymore, I use it all the time instead of my blender. Takes up much less space!

My husband is a life time smoothie drinker (oh not low calorie, just tasty) and our 20 year old blender was re purposed to one of the kids, and we got an Oster, which is like a cadillac compared to what we had. But very sharp blades for cleaning.

I've made lots of protein shakes with it, and have been making homemade soup to put up and puree. And when I'm done, he's got a smoothie cadillac machine.

You do not really need a blender. You can also use any type of chopper. As long as the food is pureed up.
